Changing of Seasons. As the days grow shorter, the warm, bluebird days of summer sun are slowly replaced by the crackling of golden-yellow and burnt-orange leaves underfoot. The sweltering heat of the high mountains will gradually give way to the first crisp snows of fall. Snowcapped peaks will emerge off in the distance, luring adventurers out of the warm cocoons of their cozy homes to play amongst the fresh, soft powder that graces their slopes. The changing of seasons might signify an end to the lighthearted days spent wandering alongside the cool, refreshing rivers and lakes of summer, but with every ending comes a new beginning. Soon we will find ourselves swaddled in our favorite layers, steaming hot coffee in hand, braving the elements to catch-up with old friends. Our conversations will hang in the chilly, brisk fall air as our warm breath surrounds us. We will celebrate new traditions with laughter, and welcome back the old with joyful smiles. Fall is finally upon us and I can’t hold in my excitement for all of the possibilities.
