Story

Generations.  As the beautiful, vibrant colors of autumn fade away to the cold, white, winter blankets of snow, we find ourselves drawn to one another inside the warm embrace of our homes.  Brothers, sisters mothers, and fathers; aunts, uncles, grandparents, and long lost friends; we all join in on the holiday tradition.  Stuffing our suitcases to the brim, we venture out into the chilly late November air for our annual pilgrimage to find that familiar feeling, that place filled with absolute acceptance and unbreakable bonds.  It is this time of year that we show our thanks to those friends and family that make us who we are, the ones that stood by our sides in moments of self-doubt and unbridled joy.  We return from our own adventures to seek the familiar.  Decorated doors will swing open, unleashing the enticing aromas of delicious feasts out into the frosty night, while friendly faces hurriedly rush in from the snow.  Generations of family, encompassing all background and beliefs, will join together to celebrate one another, our past, present, and future.  For all of my family, friends, and crazy adventure partners I am thankful.
